Safeguarding Science Webinars (hosted by Public Safety Canada's Research Security Centre)

February 12 - February 29, 2024

The Research Security Centre will be hosting a series of 10 safeguarding science webinars at the dates and times identified in the table below.

The webinars aim to assist participants to:

  1. access guidance and tools to strengthen security posture;
  2. understand best practices to identify and mitigate research security threats;
  3. pursue and maintain safe research partnerships;
  4. maintain institutional reputation of a safe research organization; and
  5. protect valuable research, data or potentially patentable property.

The webinars are intended for, but not limited to, researchers, research staff including technicians, postdoctoral fellow and students, research security professionals, research administrators, information technology and information management staff, security personnel, biosafety and radiological safety officers, human resources personnel, supply chain personnel and senior management.

Each Webinar has a limit of 250 participants.
