NSERC Discovery Grant 2025 - Research Security Considerations

Please join for a session delivered by the UBC VPRI Research Security team on research security considerations to include the Policy on Sensitive Technology Research and Affiliations of Concern (STRAC) that is now applicable to NSERC Discovery Grant applications. This session will provide you with advice on how to evaluate whether your research is advancing a sensitive technology research area, how to understand affiliation, funding, and in-kind support from a named research organization, and what to do in some common scenarios within this framework.
